We welcome everyone regardless of genre or experience to submit their songs for selection in our monthly 40 song rotation. It does not matter if you are recording in your bathroom with a cellphone, or spending thousands of dollars recording in a high-tech studio, our selection process is based simply on your music. We are seeking independent songs that we feel deserves the same type of airplay as songs on mainstream radio stations. There are a few ground rules to being eligible for placement in our monthly rotation, these are covered on the next page. Here are some other points we feel we must emphasize.

ONLY ONE SONG SUBMITTED PER 30 DAYS PER ARTIST OR GROUP
We want to give everyone an equal chance to make our rotation, so we’re asking that each artist/band please only submit one song during the submission period.

SONGS AFFILIATED WITH BMI, ASCAP, ETC. ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR SUBMISSION
When you register your song with a publishing organization there are hefty fees included with playing that particular song, fees that we are not in the current state to handle. This does not mean you must submit your songs unprotected. You can still submit songs that you have legal ownership of as long as the song has NOT been registered with a publishing organization. We are a free to play radio station, and the only way to cover the fees from these publishers would be to charge artists to play their music.

CONTENT RADIO READY
Here at R.A.I.A. Radio, censoring isn't a major concern. However, we do ask before submitting a song, please consider that we operate 24 hours 7 days a week and play music at all times of the day. We would prefer if the songs submitted were radio edited. Songs not edited for radio will not be immediately disqualified, but we will consider the time of day uncensored songs will air in our decision of adding the song to our rotation.

40 SONGS Monthly Rotation + 10
Our monthly rotation will be a total of 40 songs from several different genres. We believe that by keeping the number short, we are increasing the chances of our listeners becoming more familiar with the songs and the artist(s). It does not matter if it’s hard-core Rock, Christian Rap, or Blue Grass, if your are creating good music, we want to help expose you to the world. Besides the 40 songs in our monthly rotation, we will also place an additional 10 songs on our music page. These ten songs will not be played on air, but will be available for playback via our website.

HELP US HELP TO PROMOTE YOU! (DON’T BE LAZY!!!) 
When filling out the submission form there is a place for you to add online links. Be sure to use this tool and increase your exposure. One or more of these links will be placed with your song on our music page. Our On-air Personalities (DJs) will tell listeners how they can support you. The more valid links made available, the better we will be able to help promote your music.
